1️⃣ Nancy Guthrie

The search for Nancy Guthrie, the mother of “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie, has entered its sixth day after she was abducted from her Arizona home. Investigators believe she is still alive, but have not named any suspects in the case. The FBI, now working alongside local authorities, announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to her recovery. Nancy Guthrie’s son, Camron, issued a plea Thursday to anyone who may be holding her captive, saying, “We are waiting for contact.” Meanwhile, several media outlets have received ransom notes demanding millions of dollars in bitcoin for Guthrie’s return. Authorities are working to determine whether the notes are legitimate.

2️⃣ TrumpRX

The Trump administration’s prescription drug platform, TrumpRx.gov, is now live. It aims to connect patients with drugmakers selling certain products to those willing to pay cash and forgo insurance. According to the administration, several popular medications — including the blockbuster obesity drugs Zepbound and Wegovy — are being offered at a discount. “You’re going to see numbers that you’re not going to believe,” President Donald Trump said of the lower drug prices available on the site. Still, it remains unclear how much savings the platform will deliver, as some medications are currently listed at prices comparable to those at local pharmacies.

3️⃣ ICE reforms

The White House said President Trump is willing to consider Democrats’ demands for reforms to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, though some of their proposals are “non-starters.” This comes as Democrats said they will not back a full-year spending bill for the Department of Homeland Security if “dramatic changes” aren’t made to ICE, drawing a firm line as funding for the agency is set to expire next Friday. Already, House Speaker Mike Johnson has rejected two key Democratic demands: banning agents from wearing face masks and requiring judicial search warrants for immigration enforcement operations.

4️⃣ Boat strikes

The US military conducted a strike against another alleged drug-trafficking boat in the eastern Pacific Ocean on Thursday, killing two people, according to US Southern Command. At least 119 people have been killed since September in strikes targeting suspected drug boats, part of a Trump administration campaign aimed at curbing narcotics trafficking. The legality of the strikes has come under intense scrutiny as the administration has publicly presented little evidence that those killed in the ongoing operations are affiliates of drug cartels or that each of the vessels had drugs on board.

5️⃣ Epstein genetic testing

The late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein paid for genetic testing in an apparent effort to extend his life, new emails show. Years after his 2008 conviction on prostitution-related charges, Epstein paid for novel tests from a doctor at a leading US hospital and explored creating stem cells central to immunity and healing. An invoice shows the proposed work could have cost more than $190,000, though it is unclear how much he ultimately paid. Epstein also reportedly had discussions with scientists where he mulled using his own genes to seed a new human race. The most recently released emails offer new insight into his ties with prominent genomics researchers and raise questions about how some scientists sought funding from him.

FIRST ON FOX: The Republican National Committee is upping its social media presence and following President Donald Trump’s lead by officially launching a TikTok account, marking a strategic shift for the party as it continues to look to connect with younger voters.

The RNC’s plan to make an impact on the digital front lines involves the official launch of @Republicans on TikTok, which is designed to engage a critical demographic, voters under 30 who may not follow traditional political news but rely heavily on social media for information.

The move comes at the same time polling from Pew Research shows that 63% of Americans aged 18-29 use TikTok. The platform has become an essential battleground for reaching the next generation of voters.

Trump has credited TikTok with being a key part of his election victory in 2024.

“I wasn’t a fan of TikTok, and then I got to use it,” Trump said last fall. “And I became a fan, and it helped me win the election in a landslide.”

The data shows that TikTok was a valuable tool for Trump and his administration. Reuters reported he amassed roughly 3 million followers in just 24 hours after joining the platform and quickly began drawing tens of millions of views.

In 2025, the White House joined TikTok and quickly gained traction, racking up 5 million followers and 80 million-plus likes as of early January. In addition to launching its own account, the RNC is encouraging Republican candidates across the country to follow its lead and join the platform to engage with voters and level the playing field in a space where Democrats have historically dominated.

“President Trump proved how powerful TikTok can be and took decisive action to secure this platform for American users,” RNC Chair Joe Gruters told Fox News Digital.

“Our new account will deliver America First content directly to younger voters who get their news online, and we’re encouraging Republican candidates nationwide to do the same now that the platform is safe.”

Earlier this year, TikTok announced it reached a historic deal to launch a majority American-owned joint venture, a move guided by Trump and aimed at averting a potential U.S. ban on the popular social media app and hoping to alleviate concerns about China’s ability to influence Americans on the app.

“I am so happy to have helped in saving TikTok! It will now be owned by a group of Great American Patriots and Investors, the Biggest in the World, and will be an important Voice,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

Gains by Trump and Republicans in courting younger voters helped the GOP win back the White House and the Senate and hold their House majority in last year’s elections.

Republicans will be hoping to repeat that success in the upcoming midterms as they attempt to hold onto a razor-thin majority in the House of Representatives and a three-seat majority in the Senate despite historical trends suggesting Democrats have the advantage.

“I think the President of the United States is our secret weapon. … He’s laser focused,” Gruters said in a national digital exclusive sit-down interview with Fox News last month.

Pointing to Trump’s unprecedented agenda during his first year back in the White House, Gruters argued, “I think it’s going to pay huge dividends across the board, whether you’re running for governor, Senate, House or whether you’re running for a local seat.”

Renowned Houston surgeon allegedly faked records to block patients’ liver transplants

A Houston doctor has been indicted on charges of falsifying medical records for five patients, making them ineligible to receive a liver transplant, federal prosecutors announced on Thursday.

Dr. John Stevenson Bynon Jr. was indicted by a grand jury in Houston last month on five counts of false statements relating to health care matters.

Bynon is accused of making false statements in his role as director of abdominal organ transplantation and surgical director for liver transplantation at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston.

Of the five patients detailed in an indictment made public on Thursday, three died and two others were able to get liver transplants at different hospitals.

Patients, their families, and other members of their medical care team were unaware Bynon allegedly made false statements in their medical records, according to court records.

“Dr. Bynon is alleged to have betrayed the most sacred duty of a medical professional – to heal,” U.S. Attorney Nicholas J. Ganjei said in a statement. “He stole years and hope from those who trusted him most by falsifying records and preventing patients from receiving organ transplants.”

Samy Khalil, Bynon’s attorney, told reporters outside the federal courthouse after the doctor’s initial court appearance Thursday afternoon that Bynon is a talented organ transplant surgeon who has performed over 2,000 transplants over his 40-year career.

“Nothing he did was unlawful. Everything that he did was lawful and in good faith,” Khalil said. “We look forward to clearing his name in a court of law and educating, frankly, the government on the medical concepts that undergird this totally, totally misguided prosecution.”

Memorial Hermann Health System and UTHealth Houston, which employs Bynon, didn’t immediately respond to emails requesting comment.

The indictment and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Houston didn’t detail a motive for Bynon’s alleged actions. Angela Dodge, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office declined to comment.

“Ultimately, at the center of this case are vulnerable patients who hung their hope of survival on a nationally renowned surgeon now federally charged for manipulating their medical records,” said Acting Special Agent in Charge Jason Hudson of the FBI Houston Field Office.

“Many patients remained ineligible for months without knowing they could not receive organ offers during that time,” the DOJ said.

After the accusations against Bynon were first made public in April 2024, Memorial Hermann shut down its liver and kidney transplant program. Memorial Hermann reactivated its transplant program a year later.

The families of several patients who died while waiting for liver transplants have sued Bynon in Houston civil court, wanting to know if their loved ones were denied liver transplants due to Bynon’s actions. The lawsuits remain pending.

The indictment alleges Bynon changed the records of five patients from March 2023 to March 2024.

One patient was ineligible to receive a donor organ offer for approximately 149 days and died in February 2024 under Bynon’s care, according to the indictment.

Another patient was ineligible to receive a donor organ offer for approximately 69 days and died in December 2023 during a surgery to receive a new liver.

A third patient who required an “urgent liver transplantation” died in December 2023, two days after Bynon allegedly entered false donor matching criteria for the patient that “severely restricted” or made the patient “functionally ineligible to receive a lifesaving donor organ offer,” according to the indictment.

Two other patients received successful liver transplants after going to other hospitals.

In 2024, CBS Houston affiliate KHOU-TV spoke to family members of patients whose medical records were allegedly falsified by Bynon. They said when Bynon allegedly falsified the records, they were kicked off the waiting list and their conditions worsened.

If convicted, Bynon faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of as much as $250,000 for each count.

In February 2025, the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network, which manages the country’s organ donation program, declared Memorial Hermann a member not in good standing. The designation is the most severe action that the transplantation network can take and tells the public that one of its members has shown a serious lapse in patient safety or quality of care.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s feud with Donald Trump is shaping the race to replace her

Among the people running to fill the seat vacated by former GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of her former staffers, Jim Tully. Introducing himself on a local conservative radio show in January, he didn’t mention his connection to Greene until asked by the host.

Tully said Greene’s departure left “a glaring loss in the district,” adding that he announced his campaign almost immediately after Greene’s November announcement of her resignation to give voters a chance to “start over.”

“I couldn’t leave families wondering what was next,” he said. “I had to give them some hope.”

Other candidates are more pointed about their former congresswoman.

James Marty Brown, a former firefighter and paramedic, says Greene “divided a lot of people” with her approach to politics.

“She’s the cat chasing that little dangling feather, a little shiny object, instead of sitting back and looking to see what the big picture of what’s going on is,” he told CNN recently.

There’s a clear pattern in how the Republicans running to replace Greene address her resignation and her split with President Donald Trump. Those who are better known due to their prior involvement with local GOP politics strike a balance between showing loyalty to Trump and respect to Greene, while newcomers have less hesitation about taking shots at her.

CNN spoke with or reviewed the public comments of 12 of the 16 Republicans who launched campaigns to replace Greene in a March 10 primary likely to lead to an April runoff.

Almost all are claiming that they will be Trump’s best local ally. More than half said they regularly hear from voters about Greene, including from people who say they felt confused and betrayed by her resignation in the middle of her third term.

David Guldenschuh, an attorney in Rome, Georgia, who hosts a weekly conservative talk show on WLAQ-AM, notes that Georgia’s 14th District is one of the most pro-Trump districts in the country, particularly in its northern counties on the Tennessee and Alabama borders well away from the Atlanta suburbs.

“President Trump is extremely popular here, so of course you’re going to see the candidates try to, as I said, out-Trump each other,” said Guldenschuh, who is also the past chair of the Floyd County Republican Party.

Trump this week endorsed Clay Fuller, who resigned his role as a local district attorney to run in the special election. Fuller said recently that he would ultimately back the president even when the administration disagreed with him.

“If they say, ‘This is what we’re going with,’ they have a very strong perspective on what’s best for the American people,” he said on Guldenschuh’s show. “So I’d be willing to listen … and assist them with it because when I’m up there, I’m going to have the president’s back.”

Greene wrote on X in November that she would not be endorsing a successor.

A balancing act for some candidates

As a senior district representative for Greene, Tully said that he worked as Greene’s “eyes and ears” in the district, relaying local sentiments to her office.

Still, he spent most of a recent interview on Guldenschuh’s show pitching listeners on his connection to the district.

“When we found ourselves so enamored with Congresswoman Greene at points, and all of the sudden, here we are just disillusioned at some points, sometimes very mad, folks needed to know that there was somebody there that cared enough to say, ‘Wait a minute, I’m not gonna let that happen,’” he said.

Brian Stover, a former county commissioner and businessman from the southern part of the district, told Fox News Digital in December that he had a different approach.

“I respect everything she’s done,” Stover said. “She’s worked for the district, but I have a different tactic. I go in, and I like to negotiate through just sitting down, having good, great conversations and … not being so loud, like she is.”

Stover also told Fox News that he’d handle any disagreements with the president privately.

“You don’t get stuff from just going in and trying to be the bull in the china shop,” he said. “I can sit down with President Trump, and I guarantee you we can work things out for the best of my district.”

And former state Sen. Colton Moore, who also resigned to run, said in a statement to CNN that Greene’s “departure opens the door for a new chapter focused on unity behind Trump.”

“I think the Republican Party absolutely has problems, especially when it comes to weak leadership and broken promises,” Moore said in the statement. “Donald Trump remains the most important political figure in our movement and the clear leader of the America First base. Congresswoman Greene raised important concerns to hold people accountable, and I appreciate her fighting for the district.”

Moore also has his own history of clashes with Republicans. He was expelled from the state senate’s GOP caucus and later arrested for attempting to force his way onto the House floor for a joint address after he had been banned from the chamber. He said in his statement he’s “not running to be anyone’s clone.”

The political newcomers take more shots at Greene

While none of the newcomers are centering their opinions of Greene in their campaigns, several of them were quick to criticize her in interviews with CNN.

Star Black, a retired Federal Emergency Management Agency employee, had already been running to challenge Greene in the primary if she had run again. She said talking to voters since her campaign announcement in June showed how “polarizing” Greene had been.

“(Greene) never had a plan of how she was going to fix anything, but she certainly was able to grab a headline to complain about it,” Black told CNN.

Meg Strickland, who’s running on a platform to “return to normal” and is the only Republican CNN spoke with who openly criticized Trump, agreed.

Where she’s been campaigning at the southeastern area of the district around the Atlanta suburbs, she said people have been ready to move on from Greene since before her feud with Trump.

“She was in it for herself and not actually serving the people, so she didn’t accomplish anything,” Strickland said. “If you’re gonna be that divisive and belligerent all the time, then you’re never going to have open discussions to create common solutions for people.”

Jared Craig, an attorney in Newnan and the vice president of Veterans for America First, said that fiery approach to politics was more effective when the GOP was in the minority.

“Her brand was well suited for being the underdog,” he said. “But once you get to the point of winning, I don’t think that she had a real sense of what to do at that point.”

Other candidates criticized Greene for her abrupt departure from Congress.

Though both said they were grateful for the attention Greene brought the district, Beau Brown, who works in risk management, said her resignation “left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth,” and Jenna Turnipseed, a farmer and an Army veteran, said she “didn’t see a lot of reasoning for Greene’s “immediate political shifts on things like (Affordable Care Act) subsidies.”

Nicky Lama, who resigned his Dalton City Council seat to run, said, “Everybody, including myself, just wants to know what changed, what happened?” And Reagan Box, who ended her Senate campaign to run for the seat, said a lot of voters felt “shafted” because they had supported her.

Black and Box also worried about the cost of putting on a special election, and Strickland said she had “zero respect for someone who promised her constituency a term and then left.”

“We kind of feel sad for her,” Craig said. “That’s kind of the real tone. Because she had opportunity and it’s just sad where she chose to take it.”

Guldenschuh, the host of the weekly conservative talk show, doesn’t think denouncing Greene will benefit the field. Many voters in the district still “love” Greene, he said, and wish she and Trump could’ve worked out their disagreements.

“I think (the candidates) should be very proud and honored that we had somebody like Marjorie representing us for as long as she did,” he added.

她还指出，加法的举措也体现格陵兰岛日益增长的自治权。“就格陵兰人追求主权而言，他们会希望与其他欧洲国家建立更直接的联系。”

Could the Epstein scandal topple U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer?

London — So far, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer hasn’t been linked to any suggested wrongdoing revealed by the Epstein files. But his decision to give another politician, whose ties to Jeffrey Epstein have been laid bare by the documents, the vital job of ambassador in Washington D.C. has drawn a ferocious backlash.

As the most tumultuous week in his premiership ends, Starmer is facing calls from his political opponents, and some party allies, to step down from Britain’s top job.

What did he know, and when did he know it? Those are the big questions facing Starmer amid outrage over his decision last year to appoint Peter Mandelson as Britain’s top diplomat in the United States, despite Mandelson’s known ties to Epstein.

Documents released by the U.S. Congress last year showed Mandelson maintained contact with Epstein after the convicted pedophile was released from jail, and the latest massive dump of files by the Justice Department last week raised damning questions about him possibly sharing state secrets with the American financier.

Starmer may have hoped he’d dealt with the Mandelson scandal when he fired him from the U.S. ambassadorship last September. That came after the U.S. House of Representatives released files showing Starmer’s Labour Party colleague had maintained a close relationship with Epstein for years after his 2008 conviction on charges of solicitation of prostitution and procuring a child for prostitution.

But last Friday brought a political earthquake. The latest documents released by the Department of Justice appear to show that while Mandelson was a member of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s cabinet, and as that cabinet grappled with the seismic aftermath of the 2008 global financial crisis, he shared confidential, market-sensitive U.K. government information with Epstein. The information could feasibly have benefited the New York financier and his clients.

The London Metropolitan Police are now investigating Mandelson’s actions to see if they amount to misconduct in public office, a charge which carries a potential life prison sentence. Starmer’s office said Tuesday that it had conducted its own review of the documents released Friday and that it appeared

（赫尔辛基综合电）面对俄罗斯的威胁，刚退出《渥太华禁雷公约》不久，芬兰就开始训练士兵学习布雷。

芬兰在2012年禁用布雷装置，负责教导士兵布雷的拉托说，他们正研究如何最有效地使用这些设备。

拉托和其他教官所属的凯努旅，负责守卫芬兰与俄罗斯接壤的其中700公里的边境线。这些教官们每年将训练500名现役士兵、2500名新兵，以及5000名预备役人员。

拉托说：“我们可以用它（地雷）来阻挡敌人前进，或警示己方防御阵地上的部队。”这样一来，可以为部队在开火前争取宝贵的时间。
